Matt and I had a great little family home evening tonight with our friends Tien and Tyler. We went over to their adorable apartment and ate an awesome meal. Tien fixed ginger pork chops (yummy) and stir fry veggies, and we brought the salad. It was so much fun. After dinner Tien and Tyler gave us a wonderful message about the Savior, they played a beautiful video of the crucifixion.
We then went out shopping for candy, and prizes for the Halloween Fair. Which leads me to the thought I'm having about Walmart on Monday nights. Maybe it's because Halloween is coming, but there seemed to be a million people there tonight. I usually try to go during the day, or go to Macy's, but tonight was chaos. Although we did buy some cutely shaped pumpkins and a lot of fun prizes for the kids to win on Thursday at the fair.
We're heading home for Halloween and we're so excited to hang out with the fam. Mom is planning her usual ghostly feast, we can't wait! I think we'll be donning our 50s garb once again for the occasion - it gets harder the older you get to find a costume (at least I think so). Anyway, things are great at the Anderson home, other than the messiness of our abode, but that will soon be remedied. In the mean time, go see High School Musical 3, let me know how it is, I want to see it (yeah I know what you're thinking, but I don't care!).

Recipe Books
I dropped off the new baby book today, it seemed to be well received, too. I was also asked about the recipe books I make in the same style as the baby books. Here are a few examples: a cover and some inside pages.
Recipe books cost $60. They don't take as long as baby books which are $80. It also costs a little more to add your own recipes, but if you just want to stick with the recipes I've compiled then the price stays the same.
I can also scrapbook anything you want, from weddings to Christmas parties. I can put any topic on any size of paper. Just let me know what you need and I'll put it together for you, the price will depend on the project.

The Rachel Zoe Project
I have to say that I am loving the Rachel Zoe Project on Tuesday nights on Bravo. I have missed the season finale tonight, but plan to stay tuned to Bravo to see it, they usually play many marathons of the show. I love the fact that she's so into fashion, she's amazing when it comes to selecting and locating accessories for a look. It's awesome to live vicariously through her spending habits - she buys the furs, Birkin bags, amazing vintage dresses and all the shoes you could imagine - oh my gosh! She's also so fun to watch, she's always running around getting things done. The show is so addicting.
Along with Rachel there is Project Runway, which finishes tomorrow. I'm so voting for Korto, I would love to wear anything she's designed. Bravo is the network I love!! So, if you find yourself bored and wanting to watch good (albeit not mind-bending) tv, pick up the remote!

Getting Started
Getting started on a scrapbooking project can be so hard. I usually find the paper I like, cut stuff out and then start placing, it usually comes together in the end. Here is page one of the new book (the picture is backwards because I took it with the photobooth application on my mac). Anyway, I like this one, now I have to finish it! Wish me luck!
It's so cool to be working and get something you just love! This one is my new fav! More to come! This one goes next to that one..

Fall weather means scrapbooking!
Don't you just love the cool breeze! I have just sat down to get started on a baby book for a friend of a friend. She called me this morning and after class I went right out to grab paper for the project - I always forget how much I love shopping for scrapbook paper. Here in Logan there's a great place to go if your looking for awesome paper and supplies - The Book Table. I had so much fun there today - when you go in you have to go to the left and up the stairs, to the right through the toys and there you are! Be sure to go to the back part also, they have a ton of paper over by the front windows. Anyway, for those of you who didn't know that I make baby books, here is a sample.
This one was made about and year ago, for a little girl (obviously), but I have also done books for baby boys. I'm a recipe book maker as well - but I'll scrapbook anything, so if you're in need of that service and you don't want to do it yourself, just let me know.

Craig & Jessica
A few weeks ago my good friend Craig who I've known for about 7 years asked me to take his engagement pictures. His adorable fiance was so fun to work with also. These were taken up Logan Canyon and in Logan. I was so nervous to take the pictures and even more nervous to fix them in photoshop, but with help from my brother and the photo staff at the Herald Journal these turned out great! I'm very proud of my work, for a first try I think they're pretty good.
